Manchester’s Ali Matthews returns with a première of Mushroom Language: A Fungal Gothic at The Lowry, October 25–26.
It’s a devised eco-horror piece of theatre about the cycles that shape us: eruption, reproduction and decay. As two performers learn and act out ‘mushroom language’, they move between conversation, role play and physical theatre.
